WHO ARE WE?

In 2014 Classis BCSE approved the support of The Restorative Practices Task Force in order to promote Restorative Practices in local congregations. In 2022 BCNW joined to make it a bi-classical task force.

  • Various types of circles and their differential uses in many church. settings from meetings to study and discussion groups to decision making.

  • circle dos and don'ts: how to prevent harm caused by poor circle practices.

A Restorative Congregation lives out the belief that:

  • every person has God-given worth

  • no one is disposable

  • conflict and harm can be most effectively addressed by attending to the healing of all persons affected.
